Happy New Year our dear friends, Welcome to our 2015 Newsletter with a few snapshots of another fruitful year. It's been another interesting and fruitful year, full of surprises. We sensed God was leading us into a new season of resettlement after traveling extensively the previous year, 3 continents. So we have focused on that resettlement and the UK in 2014. This has led to us sharing in many Churches, events and Prisons. We have sensed a strong connection and built many new relationships in the UK and a strong base in Derbyshire. Thank you for your continued support and prayers, we certainly need it, doing the work of The Evangelist, winning many to Christ and mobilising other to the same. We have now no more meetings until the New Year. January will be a good start to the year with a JJohn Evangelist conference that we are fellow associates with, this conference is still open to all seeking to do the work of The Evangelist, details are in our events section. We are a simple recovery group consisting of those at every stage of faith and none. Both Terry and Jill have the skill to meet us right at the point of need. He was well received by the young men and staff alike as he shared in his own inimitable fashion his life story and intertwined with the Gospel. After the services had ended, a number of the young men commented on how Terry's story was so much like their own and it had really spoken to them. One young man was so touched by God during the appeal that he ran out of the service in tears. When I spoke to him afterwards he said that as he listened to Terry speak, and as others around him responded to the appeal, he realised that he was not to only one who had problems and asked if God could help him! I am sure this will not be the last time Terry visits us and shares the story of how his life has been transformed through the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ." Andrew Georgiou Chaplain We have seen amazing fruit especially in The Prisons, this next prisons trip was amazing with over 50 long term prisoners all on fire for God, by the time we left there where many more! Terry visited our prison for Sunday Worship recently and was excellent. He has a real ability to connect with men and with prisoners in particular. As an ex-offender he understands their issues, problems, temptations and battles but he also understands and communicates brilliantly what Christ has done in restoring him and what he can do for anyone else. I don't think Terry is just an evangelist, although his humour, passion and love for Christ pours out of him. He also understands and communicates very well the role of discipling and church building which is vital in a settled prison like ours where men are working through long sentences. Will we be inviting him back? The men in our Chapel would have it no other way. Many thanks, Paul Revd.
